Make Sure Your Child is Up to Date with All Recommended Vaccines

Don't wait until the end of the summer! Schedule an appointment early with your child's health care provider or health department to get vaccinated. Vaccines are important to protect our kids from diseases such as measles, mumps, chickenpox and whooping cough.

COVID-19 vaccines are not required. However, DPH and the CDC continue to recommend that everyone 6 months and older receive their COVID-19 vaccination to protect themselves and others. Currently, the Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines are available for those 6 months and older. The Novavax vaccine is available for those 12 and older.

Being up to date with your COVID-19 vaccines is the best way to stay healthy and keep those around you healthy, too. Talk to your pediatrician or find a free COVID-19 vaccine provider near you with DPH's COVID-19 Vaccine Locator.
