Make Sure Your Child is Up to Date with All Recommended Vaccines

Don't wait until the end of the summer! Schedule an appointment early with your child's health care provider or health department to get vaccinated. Vaccines are important to protect our kids from diseases such as measles, mumps, chickenpox and whooping cough.

COVID-19 vaccines are not required. As of September 2024, the updated 2024-2025 COVID-19 vaccines are available and authorized for everyone 6 months of age and older. As always, DPH encourages people to speak with their health care provider to evaluate the risks and benefits of vaccination. See COVID-19 prevention and vaccination to learn more.
