The Hemophilia and Other Bleeding Disorders Program aims to provide assistance with health insurance premiums, mediation copays, and may assist with the purchase of blood products for people with hemophilia and other congenital blood clotting disorders.
Eligibility Requirements
- U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency
- South Carolina residency
- Physician-diagnosed hemophilia, von Willebrand disease, or other blood clotting disorder
- Household income at or below 250% of the federal poverty level
Services
- Health Insurance Premium Assistance and Case Management (based upon availability and funding)
- May assist with obtaining blood products as prescribed for home infusion
- Care coordination and related services

SC DPH is proud to partner with Accessia Health. SC DPH offers assistance with cost of health insurance premiums, prescription co-pays, and other services through our partner, Accessia Health, that may be helpful to persons with hemophilia.
