Dating violence can have lasting effects on the lives of everyone it touches. It is imperative for South Carolina to put an end to dating violence. We need to stop the silence and break the vicious cycle of violence.

Sexual Risk Avoidance Education

IMPORTANT MESSAGE

The Sexual Risk Avoidance Education (SRAE) program will be transitioning  to the South Carolina Department of Education (SCDE).

The state funded SRAE program will transition to the SCDE by June 30, 2024 and the federally funded program on October 1, 2024.  Any future Requests For Grant Applications (RFGA) or Request for Proposals (RFPs) will be issued by the SCDE.

DPH’s Sickle Cell Program provides care coordination and payment assistance for eligible persons diagnosed with sickle cell disease to receive medical services, supplies, equipment and/or medications as prescribed by their medical provider. The DPH Sickle Cell Program provides assistance for individuals across the lifespan.

The child must have been born in South Carolina

If this is not the case, then you will need to contact the state where the child was born to request the hemoglobin screen (Sickle Cell screen) results. You can go to Newsteps.org for the appropriate state and click on the contacts for that state.
