Yes! 

Using a quitline can increase the chance that you will be successful in your quit attempt. Studies have shown that phone counseling is more effective than less intensive approaches such as self-help materials and tailored mail.

What is a Quitline?

A quitline is a tobacco cessation service available through a toll-free telephone number. Quitlines are staffed by counselors trained specifically to help smokers quit. A quitline:

Most people who get the flu will have mild illness and will recover in less than two weeks. Some people with certain medical conditions (like heart or lung disease) or certain age groups (including children younger than 5 years and adults 65 years and older) are at high risk for developing flu-related complications (like pneumonia). Flu-related complications can be serious and lead to hospital stays or even death.

Flu Vaccine Safety

Getting vaccinated is your best protection the flu. The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) recommends that almost everyone 6 months of age and older get vaccinated against the flu every year. If you have high-risk conditions, including asthma and heart disease, you should get vaccinated as early as possible each flu season.

Make a Plan to Stay Healthy, Safe

Good health doesn't happen by accident. As a teen, you're surrounded by all sorts of influences that can potentially harm your health or place you in danger. To overcome these influences, you need to make a plan to get and stay healthy and keep yourself as safe as possible.
