Our public health departments' hours of operation may be affected by power and staffing outages. This means that some closures may not appear on the state government office delays and closings map. The health and safety of our employees and our clients remains our highest priority. We are working to get services restored as safely and quickly as possible.

Nutritional preparations recommended by licensed dietitians are provided under this program to children and youth with selected medical conditions who require nutritional supplements for adequate growth and development.


Eligibility Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency
  • South Carolina residency
  • Age under 18 years
  • Household income at or below 250% federal poverty level
  • Determination of need for special formula related to physician diagnosed medical condition covered by CRS program.

Services

  • Payment for approved nutritional preparations
  • Assessment and monitoring of nutritional status
  • Coordination with primary care provider(s) as needed.
